Scholarship Criteria

Applicant must be:

- a licensed mental health care professional.

- provide therapy to at-risk or underserved populations through community services.

- willing and able to contribute a minimum of 20% toward the Foundations Course and 10% toward the Fellowship Training Group Course.

- willing to complete the Scholarship Application form.

Application Deadline:

Applications are reviewed throughout the year. Scholarships are awarded in the order applications are received. Potential recipients may experience a waitlist depending on the contributions received by Alliance for Integrated Awareness.

Black, indigenous, other people of color, LGBTQ+, disabled, and other minoritized clinicians are encouraged to apply.

It’s AIA’s goal to serve as many people as possible and we realize people working in different roles and jobs, please estimate how many people do you serve per year. *

Given that AAIT™ is a non-narrative approach, for some practitioners it is a significant departure from their familiar conventional methods. Please explain your level of openness to embracing a new paradigm of healing and personal growth through AAIT™: *

Are you willing and able to commit to attending each session and completing learning assignments between sessions? *

Practice is a key element of the training. Are you willing to commit to consistently using what you learn for at least 3 months post training? *

AIA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Are you willing and able to volunteer to further AIA’s mission to advance equity in mental health care with AAIT™ by committing to 4 hours (AAIT Foundations) or 14 hours (AAIT FTG) within 1 year of training? If so, please share any relevant areas of interest or skill sets (i.e. social media, marketing, learning and development, community and donor relations, technology, community organizing, administrative tasks, graphic design, attending AIA community events, etc.) *

I agree to complete the AIA Assessment Tool (AIA-AT) in the following sequence: (1) Before I begin the Foundations and/or Fellowship training; (2) Once I have completed training; (3) Three months after completion of training; (4) Six months after completion of training. I understand these assessments will enable AIA to measure a range of outcomes related to the offered trainings in the service of continual improvement and refinement AIA's AAIT offerings. *
